Rough Weekend? We've got you.

If you’ve had less than an ideal weekend with alcohol or food choices, first of all, we’ve been there. Second, not all is ruined and third, listen up. Take these 5 steps to a brighter day more aligned with those goals of yours.

  • SLEEP If those bags under your eyes scream “I was up until last call last night”, make sleep your priority to get back on track. It’s true that you can’t “catch up” on sleep, but you can get back into your regular sleep cycle with some dedication. Busy week? Skip the workout, make a nice meal for yourself and get some z’s. Set an alarm for yourself to go to sleep - and don’t forget the one that wakes you up ;)

  • HYDRATE Your body will be craving some hydration to rid excess bloat and water retention. Dust off that Nalgene and keep it by your side at all times! Put a Post-It on it and make a tally goal for yourself for the end of the day. Odds are, you’ll instantly see the effects of that H2O intake from your skin elasticity to digestive regulation.

  • FUEL Focus your meal prep around whole foods that are rich in fiber and vitamins. Skip the packaged meals! Chop up some fresh veggies, grab your favorite grain and add your protein of choice. Voila, you have yourself a macro meal that’ll keep on giving all week.

  • REPEAT Get back to your routine - whatever makes you feeling like pre-weekend you! I love a good skin care regimen and it’s genuinely something I look forward to every morning and night. Maybe implement some stretching and light movement in the morning to invigorate your senses or wind down with some hot tea at night. Highly recommend adding a Dr. Jart mask to your Amazon cart that week too…

  • FORGIVE Most importantly, know that your body doesn’t hold grudges - only your mind does. It’s ready and waiting for you to get back to where you left off. With the above steps inserted into your weeknights, you’ll be feeling as if those bartop dances never even happened...almost.
