FAQs

What are macros?

Macros stand for macronutrients. Macronutrients are made up of carbohydrates, proteins + fats.

“Tracking macronutrients” means that an individual is aiming to eat a certain amount of each macronutrient, each day.

The reason why macro tracking is so sustainable (and the reason why it works) is because it is completely up to you to decide when + what to eat, as long as you stay within your daily goals.  No food is off limits, no food is “good” or “bad”


Do I have to join for more than a month?

Yes! Our program is designed into 4 distinct sections which require more time with us.

  1. Education learning about macros, how to track them, how to hit them + how to monitor your own progress

  2. Mindset Makeover identifying exterior barriers that may be impeding your health goals

  3. Habit Building repetition is your best friend here. Identifying triggers, altering behavior + seeing/feeling results

  4. Sustainability learning to cement the progress you made, in a sustainable way


Can I continue beyond my initial intro program?

Yes! We have ongoing options that your coach will go over with you towards the end of your program. You can continue for as long as you need!


Do I have to track forever?

NO! Tracking macros is like learning a new language. At first, it feels unnatural. It requires time, repetition + practice. However, the ultimate goal is to get you to speak this language fluently. AKA, making smart choices, without an app or coach!

Don’t worry, we’ll help you get there.


What does your strength program entail?

-A Program created alongside The Habyt’s 1:1 Macro Coaching. This program is about simplicity while building strength, focusing on 2 main workout style: EMOMs, AMRAPs.

-EMOM - Every Minute on the Minute. These are heavily strength-focused and will encourage you to use progressive overload each week. We use benchmark days to track your progress and encourage repetition.

-AMRAPs - As Many Rounds As Possible. These are full body workouts that focus on metabolic conditioning. The stimulus of these AMRAPs is to push your fitness capabilities and get you out of your comfort zone.

-The program starts out with 3 workouts a week and slowly increases to 5 workouts a week adding in short core days in the mix. Upper body/lower body/full body splits for efficiency reasons as the workouts are 30 minutes or less including the warm-up.

-All you need are dumbbells and each exercise comes with a short video. Workout and workout schedule are accessed via True Coach App.

-You’ll also have access to Coach Fairlane using the App for questions about the workouts or if you are in need of modifications, send videos for form review or simply share a PR!


What does your “Mindset Makeover” course cover?

This self-paced, self-guided course is offered alongside your 1:1 macro coaching! Or you can purchase this course a la carte on our website for $149.

Wellness is more than the food that we eat and how we move our body, which is why we wanted to provide a holistic approach for our macro trackers! Holistic health and wellness is about caring for the whole person, not just a few parts. It encompasses what we eat, what we think, and what we do.
