Program Tools
You will need the following items for your journey here! If you don’t have these already, be sure to pick them up before your start date.
Food Scale You will need to buy a food scale for your kitchen. The food scale will act as a tool to ensure you are logging the correct portions of your food. You can buy an scale on Amazon!
MacrosFirst In our opinion, this is the best app for tracking your macros. We highly recommend paying for the premium account. It has some handy time saving features AND our clients get a special 25% off! Follow this link and apply the code HABYT at checkout (Here's a help article for applying the code if you have any issues)
Just like any other app, the more you use it, the easier it gets. If you’ve never used MacrosFirst before, download it now and input your custom goals. (If you haven’t received your goals yet, don’t worry, your coach will send them soon!) Also, be sure to unlink your steps/exercise in the app. If you don’t your numbers will get skewed!!
You may be asking yourself, how am I supposed to hit these numbers? We suggest you start by logging a normal day of food first. Once thats in, look at how far off you are from your daily macro goals. What can you adjust to get close? Remember you have a whole week to practice. Make small tweaks!
Body Weight Scale We will be using your daily weight as one of the many tools to indicate progress. Be sure to weigh yourself on the same scale, at the same time, every day. I recommend first thing in the morning, right after you go to the bathroom. NOTE: if you prefer not to use a scale, just let us know.
Measuring Tape Body measurements are another way we track progress. We recommend buying a soft fabric measurer. Be sure to measure yourself same time each week and in the exact same spots.
Meal Prep Containers (optional) Preparing meals ahead of time helps you stick to your macros.
Thats all you need for now! In the next step, you’ll be setting your purpose!
