Top Foods by Macronutrients
Carbs, fat, protein. These are a few of our favorite things. This list doesn’t sound quite as appealing as crisp apple strudel or schnitzel with noodles, but they are essential nutrients the body needs to function. Each macronutrient plays a super important role, but depending on your specific goal, the amount of each macronutrient your body needs will vary. With a coach, you can map out the daily amount of carbs, protein, and fat you should eat (in grams). The best part? With this method, you can still eat apple strudel and schnitzel if those are some of your favorite things.
If you are new to counting your macros, you may struggle to quickly identify which foods are high in carbs, fat, and protein. Don’t worry, eventually you’ll become fluent in the language of macros. In the meantime, this is a great quick list of foods that are high in each macronutrients, including some foods that do a combo job if you need to score in more than category.
