Monday, Feb 25

I get up, let my dogs out and feed them; take my pre-workout and hit my home gym by 5am; today was a 45 min Peloton ride

Arrive at my office and warm up my breakfast I made over the weekend:

Starting to feel a bit hungry and I have clients coming at 10am (they will be early, all older people are early, lol); lunch won’t be until 11:45am, so I have my snack

Clients are on their way so I am grabbing lunch before the next ones come, working on cleaning out the fridge/pantry, feels a bit random today

Finally eating dinner, we have been using Sun Basket for three meals a week and I love it, takes about 20-30 mins to prepare and all the ingredients are included- mostly organic and all non-GMO! Tonight was sole with stuffed mushroom and red pepper sauce, delish!

Tuesday, Feb 26

Up at 4:45am per my usual routine; today’s workout was a 60 minute Peloton Bootcamp- 30 mins of tread work and 30 mins of chest/back weights

Thursday, Feb 28

At the office and ready to eat; now, admittedly, there is nothing good about this “meal”- but once a week I allow myself this treat, I LOVE scones and this keeps me sane :)

BREAKTHROUGH THIS WEEK: I am learning to be more flexible and have grabbed some products to help- ie, I have nut butter WITH fat but I also have PB powder with LITTLE fat, so I can plug what I need day by day; same with my superfoods- I now have a version WITH protein and a version WITHOUT :) For mornings I have oatmeal (hello carbs) but also greek yogurt (hello protein), building out a wider range of go to options is helping a lot!


Saturday, March 2

My weekly workout at Orangetheory, burned over 500 calories, whoop!

Home and ready for some food, my belly is growling! I am one of those gotta be empty stomach workout peeps, or I feel sick!

Leftovers, have a big dinner coming tonight and I don’t know the menu so I’ll load up on protein and keep the fat and carbs light here by eating the leftover Sun Basket meal (the hubs had a work dinner that night); this piece of chicken was smaller and I ate extra veggies the other night so adjusted the macros a bit

Ate actual dinner at 7:30pm, super late for me! - dinner at my mom’s; every year my mom makes a huge Valentine’s meal for us and the menu is top secret; we are just now having it due to said new baby mentioned before, lol, who was born on 2/15; they love doing it and I do not ask any questions out of respect to her; these are my best guesses- in this case, I enjoy with no regrets and get back on track tomorrow.

It is amazing how I can taste salt now. Dinner was so salty! I don’t salt anything at home; I had guessed that dinner would be protein light and carb heavy and was a little off on that- I’m not sweating it; I worked out, went in hydrated and with calories to spare knowing it was a big meal; scale will be up tomorrow but it doesn’t bother me anymore day to day because it only reflects what I’ve done in the short term, the longer term pattern is more important! Back on track (and in control, lol) tomorrow!


Sunday, March 3

Pups slept in! Catching up on a few things and heading down to the Peloton to sweat out some of last night’s dinner, lol! 60 minute ride today :)
