Quick & Intense: No-Equipment Workout You Can Do Anywhere!

 

When you’re short on time but still need a solid workout, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered! 💪

This quick interval training workout can be done anytime, anywhere, with no equipment needed except for a timer/stopwatch (we recommend just using your phone)!


Interval training involves performing an exercise for a set amount of time, followed by a brief rest, then repeating for multiple rounds. Trust us, it’ll make sense once you see the workout breakdown!


Aim for 3-5 total rounds depending on your fitness level and how much you're ready to push yourself. The goal is to keep the intensity high and get your heart rate up! If needed, feel free to modify the exercises – you can always take out any jumping or hopping motions.

  1. High knees: 30 seconds 

    Rest: 20 seconds

  2. Air squats: 30 seconds

    Rest: 20 seconds

  3. Push Ups: 30 seconds

    Rest: 20 seconds

  4. Burpees: 30 seconds

    Rest: 20 seconds

  5. Crunches: 30 seconds

    Rest: 20 seconds

  6. Jumping Lunges: 30 seconds

    Rest: 20 seconds

  7. Mountain Climbers: 30 seconds

    Rest: 20 seconds

  8. Plank Hold: 30 seconds

    Rest: 20 seconds

However, HIIT workouts are best used in moderation. Ideally, strength training should be a core part of your routine. If you love workouts like this, that’s fantastic! Just be sure to mix them in 1-2 times a week alongside other types of exercise to keep your body balanced and strong!
